A Curatorial Jury is chosen annually and charged with the responsibility of recommending exhibitions by participating in a process of individual and group considerations of artists’ submissions and its recommendations are given to the Board of Directors.

The Curatorial Jury is composed of six members appointed by the Board, equally representing the interests of the gallery, the arts community, and the wider community: two members of the Board of Directors, two representatives of the community at large, and two member artists reflecting a broad cross-section of the visual arts community in its multifaceted variety of training and practice.

The Jury will not consider the submission by an Artist who had exhibited at GPAG in the past 24 months, nor an Artist who has had a show on the Sunshine Coast at a recognized Public Art Gallery within the last 24 months.

Gibsons Public Art Gallery thanks the Curatorial  Jury for their time and work in assessing Submissions and Proposals for the coming year.
